iFilm English to start airing ‘The Friendly Ghost’

iFilm English TV’s series ‘The Friendly Ghost’ has been scheduled to go on the channel’s playlist from September 16, 2021.

Airing of the series, produced by Zabihollah Ojaqlou and directed by Amir Qavidel, is to start on Thursday night.

The series is about Mirza Ali-Akbar, a religious man, known for his virtue and his little granddaughter.

When he dies unexpectedly Sogol, his sensitive and smart little grandchild, starts to tell everyone that her grandfather isn’t dead.

She insists she keeps seeing him in the house, but nobody believes her except for Mirza’s wicked brother.

On the cast list are Sorayya Qasemi, Mohammad Kasbi, Behzad Farahani, Maral Farjad, the late Fatemeh Taheri, Ardalan Shoja-Kaveh, Ramsin Kebriti, Abdorreza Zohreh-Kermani, the late Poupak Goldarreh, Ghazal Saremi, Leila Boushehri, Maryam Motaref, and Shaqayeq Nazeri.

‘The Friendly Ghost’, produced in 2005, is to replace the series ‘Hodhod Bookstore’ to be broadcast at 22:00 GMT.

iFilm English will also repeat each episode of the series the following day at 04:00, 10:00, 16:00 (all GMT times). It is comprised of 17 episodes.
